Remove a User Stuck in Route Manager V8
Overview
This article will show how to boot other users out of Route Manager.
Symptoms
Can't log in because your name is already shown as being logged in.
Login screen already shows you you in the system, but you are not.
Resolution
If you are already logged into Route Manager:
- Go to Tools > Administration > Users Currently Logged In.
- Select user you wish to log out and press the garbage can.
- Select the option at the bottom for “Clear Locks” to close any tables they may have had open.

If you are unable to log into Route Manager because max users are logged in:
- Choose your username from the login screen (Note: User must be marked as Master User or Administrator to use this function)
- Type in the password ARS-RM2000
- It will then ask to enter the password for the user you are logging in as.
- Next it will take you to the “Users Currently Logged In” screen.
- Select user you wish to log out and press the garbage can.
- Select the option at the bottom for “Clear Locks” to close any tables they may have had open.
- Select OK, and proceed to log into route manager.
If you are not a Master User, but still need help getting your user kicked out of the system:
- Find another user in the office that is currently logged into RM.
- Have them go to Tools > Administration > Users Currently Logged In
- Select user you wish to log out (your name) and press the garbage can.
- Select the option at the bottom for “Clear Locks” to close any tables they may have had open.
