No Product Description Printing on Invoice

Overview

If you have "Show/Use Secondary Product Codes" enabled in Branch Setup > Handheld Tab and you do NOT have "Print Secondary Product Description" enabled in Handheld Class, the system should be printing the Products standard description. However, it is not printing ANYTHING. There is no description on the invoice.

Symptoms

Nothing is printing.

Resolution

If Branch Setup > "Show/Use Secondary Product Codes" is on AND Handheld Class > Receipt tab > "Print Product codes" is on, then only the Alternate Product code will print because there is not enough room to print Alternate Product code and Product Description on the same line. The Alt. Prod Code can be up to 18 characters.
