How to Log Other Users Out of Windows Server / Remote Desktop V8
Overview
This is a breakdown of how to log a cloud user off of a session.
Symptoms
If a user cannot log into their server and only sees a ‘blank screen’ – or if the server may be really slow even if not at capacity.
Cause
Sometimes users will close their connection with the server or not completely log out. They will close the connection with the server and keep the programs running on the server
Resolution
You will need to log onto the server as an admin and log those people off.

On windows 2008 R2, 2012, and 2016:
1. Right click on the taskbar and select "Task Manager"

2. Find the active user that needs to be logged off, and select ‘Disconnect’.
- Do not forget to select Start and logout or double click the "Log Off" button before you leave the session

More Information
If you are looking to remove extra copies of RMA, you can do that through the task manager. Fully logging a user off is not always necessary. You can always try to remove them from RMA if they can’t log out by opening the task manager, and finding their copy of RMA under the Users tab.Make sure they are not doing anything delicate before you close them out! You can also remove them from within the system, which is in the following article: http://help.advantageroute.com/help/remove-a-user-stuck-in-route-manager
