How to Install TeamViewer QuickSupport on a Handheld Device V7

 Introduction

The Tech Support Team's ability to connect to your handheld device is an essential function in getting your drivers the assistance that they need in a timely fashion. Having TeamViewer's QuickSupport app installed can help expedite the resolution of unforeseen handheld problems.

Setup

There are two different processes that will allow you to install the QuickSupport app.

  1. Direct install from the Mango Mobile application.
  2. Installing directly from the Google Play Store.

The following steps will show you the procedure for both.

Mango Mobile Application Install
  1. Open up the Mango Mobile App.
  2. Select the Utilities menu.
  3. This will bring you to handheld printer options. Select Back.
  4. Select the Help menu.
  5. Select TeamViewer QuickSupport (Download).
  6. The button will turn blue. Please wait 30-60 seconds to allow the download to process.
  7. A pop-up will appear asking if you would like to install the app. Select 'Install.'
  8. The TeamViewer EULA, DPA, and Privacy Policy will appear for review. Once you have reviewed these, go ahead and click 'Agree and Continue.'
  9. The Next screen will be a slide show describing how TeamViewer can help. Review each of these slides and then select 'Done'.
  10. Some additional information regarding the Samsung Knox U.S. Privacy Policy may appear if you are using a Samsung Device. After reviewing this information, select 'Next'.
  11. TeamViewer will then prompt you to add the permission to 'Appear on Top'. Select 'Settings'.
  12. Scroll down until you find QuickSupport and set the slider to On (Blue), then select 'Back'.
  13. TeamViewer's QuickSupport app is now ready to use! When prompted by your Technician, give them Your ID (9 or 10 digit code) to connect!

 

Google Play Store Install
  1. Open up the Google Play Store App.
  2. If you are not currently logged into Google, there may be a login request that pops up:
  3. You will need to Sign In or create an account in order to proceed forward with installing the application.
  4. Once logged in, type in Teamviewer Quick Support in the search field and press enter.
  5. An Application should appear that looks like this:
  6. Click Install.
  7. The process will run and once done you will get an Open button.
  8. Click on this in order to open the app.
  9. You will be prompted with a EULA and DPA acceptance notice in order to broadcast information from your phone to the user connecting.
  10. Select Agree and Continue.
  11. Another pop up will appear asking you to allow special app access/permissions.
  12. Click on the Settings option.
  13. Another window will open up and will take you to the permissions.
  14. You will need to turn on the function to allow the screen sharing.
  15. Once turned on, use the back arrow on your tablet/phone to get back to the application.
  16. Next, you will be prompted with an Add-On feature.
  17. You will need to download this Add-On feature in order to allow the technician to control the scree.
  18. After selecting Download, you will be brought to another google window.
  19. Click the install button to install the Add-On.
  20. Once complete, you will want to use the back arrow once more to get back to the Quick support app.
  21. Now you will be directed to the main screen of Quick support and you will be given a Session ID.
  22. This is the Session ID number you will need to give the technician that is connecting.
  23. Once the technician tries to connect you will be prompted with permissions.
  24. The first will be asking you to allow the technician to connect to your device. Select Allow.
  25. The following prompt will ask you to Enable the Universal Add-On in order for the technician to control your screen.
  26. Select Enable and then the technician will be connected.
