Custom Aging Buckets in Advantage Software

 How to configure custom aging buckets

1. In Advantage Route Platform, go to Configure > Company Setup > Accounting
2. Change the ‘To’ field in the Aging Levels section. The day range will auto adjust to accommodate for the changes.
3. Once the days have been changed to the preferred ranges, click Save to apply the changes.
4. Aging levels will be displayed on ARM > Credit Info
5. Go to Configure > Language Setup
6. Find the ‘Globals’ section
7. To change the SHORT labels, add or change the labels for the sections labeled: {from}-{to}
   1. There are 6 fields – these represent the 6 aging levels.
   2. As an example, I have added the word ‘SHORT’ to the first short label field.

 

How to change the labels for aging levels

There are two areas that will display the short labels:

• Open Items Statement Report
• Customer Aging Report

To change the long labels in Aging Languages:

1. Go to Configure > Language Setup
2. Find the ‘Globals’ section
3. To change the LONG labels, add or change the labels for the sections labeled: {from}-{to} Days
   1. There are 6 fields – these represent the 6 aging levels.
   2. As an example, I have added the word ‘LONG’ to the first short label field.
      
      

There are five areas that will display the long labels:

• Customer Balance Overview
• Dunning Messages
• AR Dashboard – Aging Analysis of Balance Due 
• AR Dashboard – Review past due
• Customers > Customer Details> Balance Overview
• Configure >Data Management > Customer Management > Dunning Messages
• AR Dashboard> Aging Analysis of Balance Due
• Open Items Statements 
• Reports > AR > Customer Aging Report 
• Advantage Route Mobile> Customer Info> Billing Info
• AR Dashboard> Review past due
