~ Line by Account Number
Overview
When running reports in RMA you will find that the Acct. No. field may have an account number with a tilde (~) line in front.

This tilde (~) line is notating that the account number has been archived in the system or marked for deletion through the "Admin Delete Customer" process and has not been packed yet.

Once the "Packing" process is ran manually or when the Period Closure is done, these deleted accounts will then be removed from the system and reporting.
Archived accounts however, will still be available through separate reporting.
You may also notice that once an account has been deleted/archived, the last digit of the account number is missing in the reporting.
Delete Process:

Reporting After:

This is due to the character limit for Acct. No. fields. It will only display the first 6 digits of an account. The included tilde will boot the ending digit of the account.
Reporting
When running reports in RMA with these tilde accounts you may wonder if it is affecting the data at all.
These tilde accounts will not affect the regular report data.
If the Acct. No. range includes an account with a tilde (~), it will only generate the information for active accounts.
If you wish to see information for Archived accounts, you will need to use the "Archived Customers" reports.
These reports can be found through Tools>Archived Customers.

For more details on these two reports, visit this article for more information: Archived Customers
NOTE: If the customers were marked for deletion instead of archived, no data will show in both the regular reporting as well as the Archived reporting.
